New attractions at Last Exit to be unveiled during National Day celebrations

Nov 29 2017

Last Exit will unveil the latest addition to the post-apocalyptic world at Last Exit Mad X, with the opening of a brand new indoor dining area on December 1, at the popular food truck park on Sheikh Zayed Road, in the direction of Abu Dhabi. The eerie 1,000-square metre dining area is themed after an abandoned warehouse area and has an industrial aesthetic, with corrugated iron walls, hatch doors, metal bars, wrecking balls, cars, and other unique features such as buckets from construction machinery for sinks in bathrooms.

Last Exit will be opening a mobile airstream concept called Last Exit Live, where regular performances from local and regional talent will take place live on stage. This airstream will make its debut at Last Mad X from 1 December 2017, before it makes a move across Sheikh Zayed Road to Last Exit E11 in time for music lovers to celebrate the 46th UAE National Day, on 2 December 2017. Last Exit Live will host weekly performances thereafter, with musicians, DJs, dancers and other performers every Friday, from 7pm to 11pm. Performances during the National Day weekend will be organised by Last Exit, with long-term plans to establish a ‘busking-style’ community that rotates across all Last Exit destinations.

Participating food trucks at Last Exit E11 and Last Exit Mad X will reward drivers in flamboyant vehicles, decorated in UAE national colours, with discounts on food and drink of up to 15%, to reward the creativity of residents and visitors in Dubai. This promotion will be available from 1-2 December 2017.
